We are committed to working with young people or unemployed people in the Wigan borough. We try and do this in such a way as to improve their employment prospects and at the same time to create services and products which improve our borough. At the moment we are delivering or working on the following -
We have trained 10 of our FJF trainees to a "Professional Trainer" certification. This is accredited by the Chartered Institute for Environmental Health and was delivered for us by SECT
Six are being trained to PCV licence standard with Wigan and District Community Transport
We are offering training to MCS standard in Microgeneration
We are also offering training as Energy Assessors to allow us to assess the energy efficiency of buildings.
We're grateful to the following for their support -
